Designs are a way of protection of intellectual property relating to visual appearance of a whole or only a part of a product. Our professional staff regularly assists our clients in preparing design applications in all 8 countries as well as in maintaining granted designs.
Designs, same as other intellectual property rights, need to be regularly renewed – meaning that fees for their maintenance must be routinely paid. Designs are renewed every 5 years. The duration of a granted design is 25 years in all the territories we cover.
