Inventions and innovations in the plant sector are not protected by patents but through a similar procedure before the Ministry of Agriculture. Most of the Balkan states are part of UPOV and the procedure is standardized. We coordinate our clients with the local Ministries of agriculture both in Plant Breeder’s rights and Plant Variety Registration matters, including handling of annual maintenance fees for our clients’ registered Plant Breeder’s rights.

Feel free to contact us to receive additional information on these matters.
